Hilda Irani, Director of Strategic Initiatives at ACCESS, is an accomplished educational leader with over three decades of experience driving student success, academic equity, and systemic improvement. Prior to joining ACCESS in 2026, Hilda served as Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Dearborn Public Schools, specializing in K–12 curriculum design, bilingual education, and educational technology. Throughout her career, she has secured over $3.3 million in grant funding for literacy, math, and STEM initiatives, led district-wide continuous improvement, and directed teacher mentorship programs. Rooted in her foundational work as an English Language Development Specialist, she remains a dedicated advocate for multilingual learners and culturally responsive instruction.
At ACCESS, Hilda leverages her expertise in program evaluation, grant procurement, and community engagement to expand outreach and drive mission-focused impact. A Michigan Teacher of the Year nominee, she holds a Master of Arts in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
