Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center

The Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center provides assistance to survivor of torture who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, anxiety, social adjustment problems, family and immigration problems.

Program Services

  • Mental health: Individual psychotherapy, family therapy, marital counseling, and rehabilitation group therapy
  • Psychiatry services
  • Case management services: Social work, unemployment, legal and immigration issues, translation and transportation services
  • The Social Club
  • Community outreach and education programs
  • Immigration/legal consultation

Target Groups/Client Base

  • Refugee families from Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, and other Arab countries
  • Asylum seekers, mainly from African countries: Senegal, Togo, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Cameroon, Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Somalia
  • Refugees from Afghanistan and Bosnia
