Child and Adolescents Health Care (CAHC)

CAHC provides a comprehensive range of medical and psychological services to children and adolescents in Dearborn and its adjacent communities.  Furthermore, CAHC promotes health and health education programs for adolescents and parents by maintaining consistent outreach efforts in the community through the various school systems.  Our intent is to involve adolescents and parents in planning and promoting overall family health.

Program Goals

  • Health promotion and education programs for adolescents, parents and professionals through direct community outreach.
  • Involve adolescents and parents in planning and promoting the ACCESS Teen Health Center and increase their awareness of health issues affecting adolescents by involving them with the ACCESS Teen Health Center Advisory Committee
  • Continue to successfully strengthen relationships with schools personnel, health facilities, and other community centers and youth serving agencies

  • Problem ID & Referral Classify those who are at risk through unhealthy behaviors and assess whether their behavior or their health may be reversed through education
  • Follow- up Services & Referrals
  • Material Development and Dissemination
