ACCESS Entrepreneurial Growth Program (EGP), is dedicated to community and economic development.
Its signature program, the Immigrant Entrepreneur Program, involves supporting entrepreneurs who want to start and grow businesses, helping them connect to the myriad of entrepreneurial resources available throughout southeast Michigan.
Located at 6451 Schaefer Rd., our EGP offers assistance to populations who face barriers to traditional services in the business sector and empowers them to pursue self-employment, succeed in establishing and growing their business enterprises and make an economic impact on the community.

The EGP also hosts events to encourage clients to continue meeting and networking; post-IGNITE or -EXPLORE workshops; and the opportunity to utilize ongoing business coaching. Daytime, evening and weekend options are available for training workshops. Business coaches are fluent in English and Arabic and are available by appointment.
Two entrepreneurial training series – IGNITE (taught in English) and EXPLORE (taught in Arabic) – are open to all. In addition, the EGP offers business plan assistance, growth coaching, networking events, staffing resources and access to our extensive network of partner programs.
IGNITE CLASS DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED
The EGP hosts an ISM facilitated seven-week IGNITE cohort program was designed to inspire, energize and prepare present or future business owners throughout their entrepreneurial endeavors.
Crafted specifically for EGP clients, IGNITE provides exposure to local resources and networks, information on business procedures, identification of market demographics, as well as tailored guidance and support during weekly coaching sessions.
All sessions are conducted in English.

EXPLORE CLASS DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED
EXPLORE your small business ideas with the EGP.
EXPLORE is an entrepreneurial business training workshop, taught in Arabic, dedicated to helping launch or grow a business. This three-week course meets biweekly and is led by highly trained, certified professional instructors who conducted the program in Arabic.
Upon completing the training series, clients will be awarded a certification of achievement and enjoy a graduation celebration hosted by the EGP.
The client is then able to apply for micro loans through the EGP; those with refugee and political asylee status are strongly encouraged to apply. The EGP will also provide long-term support via co-working spaces, pop-up shop opportunities, as well as facilitating connections with other support organizations.
