Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha to receive Champion of Justice award at ACCESS 45th Annual Dinner

ACCESS’ signature event, our Annual Dinner, is just around the corner, taking place on April 23, 2016. We’re thrilled to be celebrating 45 years of serving our communities! Because this is such a special year for us, we’re working very hard to make sure this Dinner is one to remember.

We’re especially excited to announce that Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, director of pediatrics at Hurley Medical Center in Flint and a global hero of the ongoing Flint water crisis, will be receiving ourChampion of Justice award!

Dr. Hanna-Attisha is widely recognized as the whistle-blower who forced the state of Michigan to acknowledge toxic levels of lead in Flint’s water supply, and has acted as a tireless advocate for the children of Flint throughout the crisis. She has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, BBC and in countless other media outlets championing the cause of public health and encouraging others to join her in providing assistance to Flint’s residents.

We are incredibly honored that Dr. Hanna-Attisha will be taking time out of her extremely busy schedule to join us at our Annual Dinner. We hope to see all of you there as well!

Tickets for the 45th Annual Dinner are now available here. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of the largest event of its kind in the nation!
