Adult Mental Health Program and Family Counseling

The Adult Mental Health Program serves clients throughout southeast Michigan suffering from mental illness, acculturation and substance abuse. The program is a comprehensive bilingual English/Arabic outpatient mental health treatment initiative accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Program Goals

  • Improve the mental health and well-being of clients
  • Increase the level of awareness of mental illness and available treatments
  • Improve communication and conflict resolution skills to improve family relations
  • Provide access to psychiatric assessment, medication and services
  • Provide substance abuse treatment

  • Substance abuse counseling
  • Crisis intervention (referral)
  • Case management services
  • Psychological tests

All mental health services are provided by state-licensed doctors and clinicians.
