Nearly 400 volunteers were on hand Saturday to give Detroit's Cody High School a makeover after a 7 Action News Fix My School report.

Kids at Cody High School in Detroit called on 7 Action News in January, saying help fix my school!

Saturday's project includes repairing drop ceilings and installing bathroom stall doors at the Detroit Institute of Technology at Cody Rouge High School.

Nearly 400 volunteers came together at Cody High School  and the surrounding neighborhood to help out to celebrate Arab American Service Day.
