Grant to support ACCESS breast cancer awareness program

ACCESS would like to extend its warmest thanks to Verizon Wireless for their contribution of $10,000 to our Domestic Violence Awareness and Treatment program.

The American SAFE Act was one of the several topics discussed at “Standing Strong: Uniting the Community Around Safety and Civil Rights” Nov. 30.

The forum featured Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad, ACCESS Executive Director Hassan Jaber and TAKE ON HATE Campaign Manager Rashida Tlaib.

 

 

The National Network for Arab American Communities, a program of the nonprofit ACCESS, and its TAKE ON HATE campaign is asking the public to contact lawmakers to oppose the effort.

 

Activists and politicians from across Metro Detroit and Michigan gathered in Dearborn, a city known to many because of Ford and its large Middle Eastern population, to ask Michigan politicians and
